Why we made this course

They’re calling it the great resignation – over the course of the pandemic, record numbers of people have jacked in their old jobs or changed their careers altogether. Many others have traded in the stability of permanent roles for the wild world of self-employment, traded in the wild world of self-employment for the stability of permanent roles, or relocated their whole lives and therefore their careers in the process. Yep, something about all that time stuck inside our own homes and heads has had millions of us pondering what we really want to do with our lives and now, as we emerge into a new year, actually taking action to make it happen.

But changing jobs, or starting a whole new career, is tough. Emotionally, logistically, financially… there are a whole lot of things that can hold us back from pursuing our dreams, or indeed figuring out what our dreams are in the first place.

Finding affordable, accessible and meaningful guidance can be tricky. And that’s where The Big Career Reset comes in. Calling on the talent, knowledge and experience of seven experts, our unique could be just what you need to help you figure out your next move and give you the confidence you need to go after it.

*yes there will be writing, drawing cutting and even sticking involved. No, you don’t have to show anyone else.

Step 2:

Now you know where you’re going, you need to figure out how to get there…

Step 3:

@peopleatheartcoaching

Ever thought about how your career fits (or doesn’t fit) with your personality? Knowing more about ‘what makes you tick’ can be the key to finding a career that fits.

Catherine shares some practical tools and wisdom to help you to learn more about both your personality type and your strengths; so that you can see just what might have been missing so far…and what you’ll need more of in order to thrive at work.

Step 4:

Stop holding yourself back with, Sara Maxwell           @yourwealthcoach

We know that there can be loads of reasons why you might feel stuck where you are right now.

Whatever is holding you back, binning some of those pesky self-limiting beliefs you have about yourself and knowing how to drown out that annoying negative voice in your head, is a pretty good place to start.

Sara will talk you through some super simple but incredibly useful tips to help you get into a more positive mindset.

Step 5:

Build a Supportive Network with, Lucy Cleveley @discoco_hq

Re-assessing your career can be a lonely place to be. We thrive when we feel supported and encouraged but where do you go if you’re ‘in-between’ careers?

Lucy shares the benefits of building a strong and supportive network and how to do it.

It’s networking, but a whole lot more rewarding and useful. No ‘balancing a vol au vent in one hand and a drink in the other while desperately trying to think of the name of the person opposite you’ involved.

Step 6:
