All sessions will be recorded so if you can’t make the live session you can watch back and cook at a time suitable to you. On the weeks where you are not cooking, Shamal will be engaging with members via The Cook Club community group (you’ll be invited to this in the 1st week). It’s an online community where you can share recipes and progress and attend Q&A sessions hosted by Shamal.

Guyanese Chicken Curry and roti

A staple in any Guyanese household, Shamal will be sharing her family recipe with you, if you’re looking to learn how to make a super quick midweek curry, this is the recipe for you, ready in 40 mins and satisfies your soul! 

Vegan option: mixed squash curry

One pan wonder

We all need a recipe where we can just chuck everything in a pan and wack it in the oven and it’s ready to serve up in 30 mins. Minimal effort, maximum satisfaction! This recipe will be either meat, fish, or veg/vegan. 

Midweek Roast dinner

Yes, it’s entirely possible. It does require a little prep the night before but it’s 100% worth it! A whole roast chicken with all the trimmings, but make it quick and easy! Shamal will guide you step by step to make the perfect midweek roast dinner.  

Vegan option: Roasted spiced cauliflower
