Extending the joy of Becky's beginners classes, this 5 week course will take you from novice to virtuoso Okay, maybe not quite. But you will be able to increase your skill and enjoyment in this cool little instrument.
Why we love this course
What’s not to love? Get better at the ukulele, have fun and play together with a bunch of other ukulele lovers all from the comfort of your own sofa / bed / dining table / specially crafted ukulele stool.
In this interactive, fun five week course, Becky will take you to the next level (of ukulele playing). You’ll learn to play some classic tunes using Em, E7, D minor and D major, and also explore a variety of different playing styles.
The course will be recorded on speaker view and made available to all participants afterwards, so you’ll have reference to it if you miss a session (or just want to remember what you’ve learnt!).
All you will need is a ukulele and some colourful dot stickers (you can buy a uke from Becky as part of the course – she’ll tune them up and deliver for free if you happen to live locally – that’s London, SE23, SE26, SE6, SE22 and SE15 or free). If you don’t live in the wilds of South East London then Becky informs us that Soprano ukuleles are a good buy.
Classes will be kept to a maximum of 11 participants in the live groups so the course can be as interactive as possible.
Go on book yourself a spot. You never know, you might become the next Grace VanderWaal (we Googled it) or …George Fornby.
You should book this course if
If you have already taken Becky’s beginners class and you want to advance your Uke skills further. The course will assume a good knowledge of C, F, G, G7 and A minor, and we’ll start by revising these and D minor. If the last sentence made no sense at all to you, book on Becky’s class for beginners…
