Li-Yeng is chartered musculoskeletal physiotherapist and founder of Habilitar.co.
Li-Yeng knows her stuff. She is a chartered musculoskeletal physiotherapist who has extensive and diverse experience in health and education. When Covid-19 hit and changed the way we live, work, move, and connect, Li-Yeng wanted to use her strengths, skills, knowledge and experience to help in some way. Luckily, she has a skill that is sorely (yep, that’s another terrible pun) needed as so many of us continue to work from home without fully accepting the changes we need to make to accommodate it.
As a young practitioner, Li-Yeng experienced burn-out. This taught her first-hand how physical, mental, social, and environmental factors can interact to influence the health of a person. She believes that understanding the whole person (not just their individual parts) should be at the centre of care and recovery and has worked to build this into her own practice, as well as exploring ways to support public health policy.
Li-Yeng founded Habilitar to provide accessible, actionable, and integrative on-line health education courses and one-to-one consultations. Her aim is to enable, empower, and equip people with information, skills, and tools to self-manage, prevent, or reduce the occurrence of musculoskeletal disorders.
