Introduction:

These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of Discoco Course Creator Membership, which is run by Lucy Cleveley and Isabel Mohan.

In order to qualify for this membership, your course must first be approved by Discoco and meet the requirements of the Discoco Promise. Memberships acceptance is at the discretion of the co-founders of Discoco, Lucy Cleveley and Isabel Mohan.

By signing up to this membership you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you refuse to accept these Terms and Conditions, you will not be able to purchase Discoco Course Creator Membership.

Price and payment:

The Discoco Course Creator Membership is:

• One month rolling contract at £18 per month
• One year rolling contract at £186 (saving you £30)

You will be signed up to membership as soon as you sign up to the ‘trial period’. The membership fee will then be automatically debited from your account 30 days after you join and then every month or yearly, depending on which option you choose upon signing up. You will receive a payment reminder email 7 days before we take your payment.

The first payment is due on 30 days after sign up. Subsequent payments will be taken on the day you signed up, each month or annually, depending on which option you choose.

After the initial chosen amount of time, membership will run on a rolling basis, automatically renewing on your chosen time period (every month or twelve months).

If we are unable to take payment on or up to 15 days after your renewal date, we reserve the right to remove your course from the Discoco site and freeze access to the Membership Portal until payment has been made. If payment has not been made up to 7 days after renewal date and no contact has been made with Lucy and Isabel then your membership will be cancelled.

Cancellations:

If you wish to cancel your membership at any time, you will need to contact Lucy Cleveley at hello@discoco.co.uk at least 7 days before your next payment is due to be taken. Refunds for cancellations requested on or after the renewal date will be given at the discretion of Lucy Cleveley and Isabel Mohan or any individual expressly appointed by them. We have the right to charge a £20 administration fee for anyone who requests a refund on their membership for any reason, including failure to cancel before the payment renewal date.

Once your membership is cancelled, either by you or Lucy and Isabel for a failed payment, your course/s and personal profiles will be removed from the Discoco site, your access to the Membership Portal will be terminated and you will be removed from any communication specific to membership (private Facebook group and Course Creator Newsletter). 

Communication

By signing up to Discoco Course Creator Membership, you agree that you are happy to receive updates, promotions and regular newsletters from Discoco. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Discoco’s online content contains material such as worksheets, videos, audio files, text, graphics, images and other material provided by or on behalf of Discoco. The Content may be owned by us or third parties. The Content is protected under both United Kingdom and foreign laws. Unauthorised use of the content may violate copyright, trademark and other laws.

You may not sell, transfer, assign, license, sublicense or modify any Discoco content or the content of third parties who feature in either the Membership Portal or the main Discoco site. You may not display, publicly perform, make a derivative version of, distribute or otherwise use Discoco content in any way for any public or commercial purpose. The use or posting of the content on any other website, social media page or in a networked computer environment for any purpose is expressly prohibited.

Your courses and profiles:

By signing up to Discoco Course Creator membership, you agree for us to feature your course and personal profile on the main Discoco site. You agree for us to create a recommendation’s page for your course/s and a personal profile page, written by us and including any links or other content you have provided for us to use. 

By signing up to Discoco Course Creator Membership you agree to us sharing the information we have made publicly available on the Discoco site, as well as any additional information or material you have provided us with, in any articles, social media posts, pitches to third party organisations, event material, marketing and PR materials.

Course content and bookings:

By signing up to Discoco Course Creator Membership, you are stating that all of the information you provide us with, plus the content of the course/s we feature on the Discoco site is accurate, up to date and is not in breach of any Copyright laws. You agree to keep Lucy Cleveley and Isabel Mohan, or anyone expressly appointed by them, up to date with any relevant changes to dates, content, location or administration of your course/s.

Discoco accepts no liability for any cancellations made by those who booked via the site. Discoco accepts no liability for any issues or complaints about your course content or administration from those who have booked via the site.
